NYIVA current advocacy initiatives

Initiate and support “Place keeping” policy changes that provide opportunities to the independent live performing arts industry and realize sustainability goals. We also continue to advocate for more financial resources for our members and working are towards creating more opportunities for government projects and contracts

NYIVA strives to preserve and nurture the ecosystem of independently-owned and/or operated live performance spaces and promoters throughout New York State. Join and engage in our monthly Zoom calls where we strive to educate and empower live performing arts organizations and businesses through collaboration, resource sharing, and modeling best practices.
